About the Role
Wallarm is a global leader in API security, protecting millions of users and billions of requests for Fortune 500 companies and high-growth startups. As a Senior DevOps Engineer for Wallarm Node, you will join our remote-first team of over 150 experts to drive the evolution of our core product distribution. You will be responsible for a sophisticated ecosystem spanning traditional Linux packages, containerized Docker images, and complex Kubernetes orchestrations. This is a high-impact opportunity to work at the intersection of security and cloud-native infrastructure, ensuring our customers can deploy Wallarm seamlessly across any environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour primary focus will be the architectural design and continuous optimization of our CI/CD processes to ensure maximum delivery speed and reliability for the Wallarm Node. You will play a central role in maintaining over 20 distribution channels, ranging from official .deb and .rpm packages to advanced Kubernetes Ingress integrations.
- Architect and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline product delivery across diverse infrastructures.
- Collaborate closely with Development and QA teams to integrate quality assurance benchmarks throughout the release lifecycle.
- Manage global infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible across GCP, AWS, and Azure platforms.
- Develop high-performance automation scripts and custom internal applications using Bash, Python, and GoLang.
- Provide advanced technical support for complex, product-related infrastructure challenges faced by our global customer base.
- Continuously optimize official Docker images and cloud-native deployment strategies to enhance agility and performance.
- Drive the adoption of modern, AI-driven development practices within the deployment lifecycle.
We are seeking a seasoned professional with deep technical expertise in managing high-volume, enterprise-grade deployment environments. The ideal candidate thrives in a remote-first setting and possesses a strong security-first mindset combined with a passion for automation.
- Extensive experience designing and managing complex CI/CD workflows, with a specialized focus on GitLab-based systems.
- Deep practical knowledge of Kubernetes and its ecosystem, including Ingress controllers and cloud-native orchestration.
- Proven proficiency with major cloud platforms, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Demonstrated experience in integrating AI-driven development tools into automated CI/CD workflows.
- Advanced skills in Linux infrastructure administration and shell scripting with Bash and Python.
- Experience with GoLang or C for systems-level development is a significant advantage.
- Ability to build and maintain custom tooling to enhance deployment capabilities and monitoring.
- Strong communication skills to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and high-level technical support.
