About the Role
As the Vice President of Population Health at Covera Health, you will spearhead the growth and operational excellence of our 'Protect Seniors' program, a cornerstone of our AI-driven clinical intelligence platform. This executive leadership role is pivotal in bridging the gap between advanced data science and real-world clinical outcomes, ensuring that millions of patients receive the highest standard of care through optimized diagnostic accuracy and strategic payer-provider partnerships. You will operate at the center of the Covera ecosystem, serving as a vital link between our clinical intelligence tools and the payers and providers who utilize them to transform patient journeys.

Key Responsibilities- Directly oversee the strategic expansion and operational performance of the Protect Seniors program, ensuring it meets rigorous clinical and business benchmarks.
- Act as the primary executive relationship owner for health plan partners and primary care provider (PCP) groups, fostering long-term collaborative success and program integration.
- Bridge the gap between Customer Success and Operations to deliver a seamless experience for all stakeholders within the Covera ecosystem, from initial onboarding to long-term scaling.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to refine the company’s population health strategy and align program goals with broader organizational objectives.
- Utilize Covera’s proprietary clinical intelligence data to drive actionable insights, helping partners improve patient outcomes and reduce unnecessary healthcare expenditures.
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement scalable processes that support rapid growth across diverse geographic markets and various payer types, including Medicare Advantage.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to program health, diagnostic accuracy, and patient engagement to ensure continuous improvement and transparency.
- Champion the use of AI-powered quality tools within the provider community, ensuring that doctors have the insights necessary to enhance care delivery.
- Proven track record as a senior executive, such as a Vice President or Director, within the healthcare industry, specifically focused on population health, value-based care, or health plan operations.
- Extensive experience managing complex, high-value relationships with national payers, large employer groups, and integrated delivery networks (IDNs).
- Deep understanding of the Medicare Advantage landscape and the specific regulatory and operational challenges associated with senior care and diagnostic quality.
- Strong analytical mindset with a demonstrated ability to translate complex clinical data and AI-driven insights into clear, actionable operational strategies.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with a history of building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing teams in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders, clinical leaders, and external partners alike.
