Key Responsibilities- License high-quality 3D assets and VFX scenes from your existing personal or studio archives for a flat-fee licensing payment.
- Perform technical processing on archived files, including rendering, layering, and optimizing scenes to meet rigorous data specifications for AI training.
- Generate variations of existing scenes through precise re-rendering or adjustments to lighting, textures, and asset placement to provide diverse data points.
- Ensure all deliverables are meticulously separated into coherent, compositable layers such as albedo, depth, shading, and gloss for deep learning analysis.
- Collaborate with AI research teams to ensure that the generated data provides the necessary complexity for high-level machine learning models.
- Maintain a high standard of organization and documentation for all licensed and processed assets to facilitate seamless integration into the Prolific data pool.
- Adapt existing technical workflows to incorporate custom tools and specifications provided by our research partners.
- Extensive professional experience as a 3D Artist, Technical Artist, VFX Artist, or Compositor within the gaming, film, or high-end digital production industries.
- Advanced proficiency in industry-standard software and engines, specifically Unreal Engine, Unity, Houdini, Maya, Blender, or Cinema4D.
- Deep expertise in rendering, lighting, and texturing, with a strong understanding of how to construct both photorealistic and complex stylized scenes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical workflows and utilize procedural tools for data preparation and scene management.
- Ownership of a robust portfolio of existing assets, scenes, or environments that can be licensed for commercial or research purposes.
- Strong attention to detail regarding layer separation, technical file integrity, and data-driven specifications.
- Specialized experience with elements including depth maps, albedo passes, cryptomattes, complex occlusions, atmospherics, and crowd dynamics is highly desirable.
