The Electrical Design Lead is responsible for ensuring the electrical scope of every project is technically sound, code-compliant, and ready for execution. This role provides scoping oversight, supports pre-sale technical review, and helps prepare every job for a smooth, high-quality install.

• Provide technical design and scoping support by reviewing complex project scopes to ensure feasibility and compliance.
• Act as the technical partner to sales by clarifying edge-case designs and providing high-confidence answers on installation approaches.
• Review permit plan sets for accuracy and provide field-informed feedback to improve diagram quality.
• Support installation teams by reviewing projects for completeness before handoff and collaborating on field reverification.
• Serve as a knowledge management expert by creating technical FAQs, reference guides, and installation readiness checklists.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of installation processes, tools, and procedures.

• Licensed Journeyman Electrician certification with at least 5 years hands-on residential experience.
• Deep knowledge of NEC and the ability to interpret code for real-world scenarios.
• Experience working in a software-based environment (G-suite and/or Microsoft Office).

• 10+ years of hands-on residential experience, ideally in L2 EV charging, service upgrades, and smart panels.
• Experience in a startup or high-growth tech environment.
• Ability to review digital plans in systems like HubSpot, Dropbox, and Figma.
