Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Territory Sales Officer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of your assigned geography, focusing on both top-line growth and bottom-line efficiency. Your core duties will include:
- Achieving ambitious sales targets through active personal selling and rigorous market visitation strategies.
- Driving the distribution system by managing both front-end sales force activities and back-end infrastructure requirements.
- Systematically analyzing, extracting, and utilizing MIS reports to identify execution gaps and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Negotiating with distributors and mentoring their teams to enhance customer management and drive incremental business.
- Cultivating and leveraging strong relationships with the trade to strengthen Unilever's market position and competitive advantage.
- Generating and providing comprehensive market feedback and reports to the branch office to inform regional strategy.
- Analyzing local market trends to improve competitive positioning through superior customer service and product availability.
- Monitoring the performance of distributors and their sales teams, taking swift corrective actions to address infrastructure or performance gaps.
- Executing promotional activities and localized marketing initiatives to drive brand visibility and consumer pull.
We are looking for a results-oriented professional with a strong background in channel sales and a passion for retail excellence. To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of a full-time Graduation degree from a recognized institution.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in Channel Sales, preferably within the FMCG sector.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ROI calculations and Redistribution Stockist (RS) management.
- In-depth knowledge of RS appointment processes and strategic sales planning.
- Experience in conducting and overseeing on-ground promotional activities and execution.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the local language to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently in a remote field-based environment.
