About the Role
Headspace is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Temp HR Coordinator to join our People Operations team for a 3-month engagement. As a foundational member of the team, you will provide tactical and operational support across the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring that every interaction reflects our commitment to mental health and professional excellence. Working directly with the Lead HR Generalist, you will act as a bridge between various internal departments, helping to execute day-to-day HR activities with accuracy and care. You will play a vital role in maintaining data integrity, streamlining processes, and serving as a supportive first point of contact for employee inquiries, directly contributing to a culture where every team member feels valued and supported.
Key Responsibilities- Employee Lifecycle Management: Assist the Lead HR Generalist with the seamless execution of onboarding, contract extensions, offboarding, role changes, and internal transfers for both employees and contractors.
- HR Administration: Coordinate and complete high-priority administrative tasks that ensure timely execution of employee experience initiatives and maintain a high standard of data integrity across all People systems.
- Dedicated Support: Act as the primary HR Operations point of contact for the Provider Activation team, specifically supporting the unique hiring and activation workflows for our care providers.
- Triage & Employee Support: Serve as the first-line responder for the People Ops inbox, resolving routine requests with speed and accuracy while escalating complex or sensitive issues with full context to senior leadership.
- Process Improvement & Documentation: Support the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal guides to improve self-service resources and ensure consistent training for managers and employees.
- Operational Tracking: Monitor and follow up on open HR tasks, compliance requirements, and employee change workflows, identifying patterns in recurring questions to suggest proactive process improvements.
- Professional Experience: At least 2 years of dedicated HR experience, with specific exposure to HR operations or generalist functions in a corporate environment.
- Systems Expertise: Proficiency with HRIS platforms is required; specific experience with ChartHop and ADP is highly preferred.
- Communication Excellence: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Operational Mindset: High attention to detail and follow-through, with a proven ability to "close the loop" on complex administrative tasks without constant supervision.
