Key Responsibilities- Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on complex hydraulic and electrical systems to identify root causes of equipment failure.
- Execute high-level repairs and comprehensive preventative maintenance on a diverse fleet, including diesel engines, heavy equipment, and specialty lines.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest safety standards to minimize downtime and provide reliable solutions for our customers.
- Collaborate with a team of service professionals to manage changing priorities in a high-volume shop or field environment.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all inspections and repairs performed.
- Mentor junior technicians and share technical knowledge to improve the overall efficiency of the service department.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace to ensure a productive environment.
- High school diploma or GED required; completion of trade school or equivalent technical training is highly desired.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a technician working with diesel equipment, heavy machinery, or specialty lines such as large-scale generators and pumps.
- Advanced proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing sophisticated hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently on complex diagnostic tasks.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial workplace.
- Physical capability to lift 50 pounds or more, with the ability to bend, squat, crouch, and work in both indoor and outdoor settings.
- Ownership of the standard tools of the trade required to perform mechanical repairs.
- Military experience in related MOS/AFSC codes (e.g., 91B, 91H, 2T351) is highly valued and veterans are encouraged to apply.
