About the Role

At Nuvolar Works, we are at the forefront of global technology consulting, specializing in high-impact IT solutions, cloud-native platforms, and end-to-end project delivery. With a rich 14-year history and a diverse team of over 100 professionals, we partner with industry leaders in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and diagnostics to build life-changing technology. We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join a mission-critical initiative focused on the evolution of large-scale AWS-based medical data platforms. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in processing and securing critical healthcare data, directly contributing to improved patient outcomes and global diagnostic capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

As a Technical Project Manager, you will serve as the primary engine for coordination and alignment across multiple engineering teams. Your focus will be on ensuring the seamless execution of technical roadmaps while maintaining a high standard of delivery excellence. You will translate complex product goals into actionable sprint objectives, ensuring all stakeholders are synchronized throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Drive delivery across several engineering teams focused on AWS-based data platforms, ensuring technical alignment and architectural consistency.
  • Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, including scope definition, priority alignment, and comprehensive sprint and release planning.
  • Proactively track delivery progress, identify potential risks, and mitigate blockers to ensure milestones are met without compromising quality.
  • Facilitate core Agile ceremonies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational efficiency within the development squads.
  • Maintain high-visibility reporting via Jira and Confluence, providing stakeholders with real-time insights into delivery health and resource utilization.
  • Oversee release readiness and technical coordination, ensuring all deployments meet compliance and documentation standards within the regulated healthcare space.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of technical depth and project leadership experience. We are looking for a professional who understands the nuances of cloud architecture and can communicate effectively with both software engineers and business executives.

  • Experience: 5–7 years of proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, Engineering Manager, or a similar leadership role within a software development environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: A strong background in software engineering or data platforms, specifically within AWS environments including services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, CloudWatch, and SageMaker.
  • Agile Expertise: Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban). Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is highly desirable.
  • Release Management: Demonstrated success in managing complex release cycles, cross-team dependencies, and technical deployments.
  • Communication: Exceptional oral and written English communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Tools: Expert-level proficiency in Jira and Confluence for project tracking, documentation, and workflow management.

Benefits

Nuvolar Works is a people-first organization. We believe that professional excellence is driven by a supportive, flexible, and inclusive work environment. When you join our team, you become part of a community that values your growth and well-being as much as your technical contributions.

  • Remote-First Flexibility: Work 100% remotely from anywhere in Spain, with the option to visit our vibrant hubs in Sant Cugat or client sites if desired.
  • Continuous Growth: Access to a dedicated training and development budget, mentorship programs, and frequent knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Health and Wellness: Comprehensive private health insurance and a subsidy for gym memberships to support your physical well-being.
  • Dynamic Culture: Participate in regular team-building events and collaborate with a multicultural team of experts passionate about meaningful technology.
  • Transparent Hiring: A simple, merit-based recruitment process designed to value your skills and potential over traditional CV metrics.
