About the Role
The Technical Implementations Lead will actively engage with customers and collaborate with key internal teams to drive improvements in the performance, scalability, durability, and security of custom solutions. In this role, you will support the professional services team and oversee technical solution delivery for a range of Smile Digital Health customers.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with customers to support implementation projects, including configuring the Smile platform, scripting, and troubleshooting.
- Develop expertise in core technologies and standards such as HL7, FHIR, OpenID Connect, Kubernetes, Java, and JavaScript.
- Manage project priorities and escalate requests to leadership when necessary.
- Collaborate with customer-facing teams to drive profitability of professional services engagements.
- Serve as a resource for technical support analysts and participate in on-call rotations for after-hours assistance.
- Support the development and evaluation of RFIs and RFPs to secure new business.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Java and JavaScript development.
- Proven expertise in Spring, REST, SQL, and Git.
- 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering software solutions independently and collaboratively.
- Exceptional communication skills with confidence in leading meetings and persuading stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Undergraduate degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Knowledge of healthcare open standards like HL7 v2, FHIR, or CCDA.
- Experience with Kafka, ActiveMQ, MongoDB, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience in Python and cloud development (AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and iterative methodologies.
