About the Role

We are currently seeking a high-caliber Supply Chain Executive to join our remote team in Malaysia. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for external and internal stakeholders, managing the complex 'Procure to Pay' cycle for pharmaceutical products across a global network of Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs).
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Supply Chain Executive, you will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager for External Manufacturing, ensuring seamless operational flow and supply continuity across our diverse portfolio. Your core duties include:
- Supply Cycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end procurement process with global CMOs, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality branded prescription medicines.
- Data & Master Data Governance: Set up and validate master data within the SAP S4H ERP system and coordinate with CMO planning systems to maintain data integrity and meet company KPIs.
- Strategic Project Coordination: Lead the supply chain components of acquisition projects, managing Market Authorisation (MA) ownership transitions and ensuring new stock aligns with Pharmanovia-approved trade dress.
- Performance Analytics: Interrogate Supply Chain Key Market Indicators (KPIs) and produce comprehensive reports to support demand forecasting, warehousing, and distribution teams.
- Regulatory & Quality Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and manage complexities related to serialisation, temperature-sensitive logistics, and the procurement of controlled substances.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with regulatory, artwork, IT, and logistics teams to resolve packaging issues and streamline customs clearance or import/export challenges.
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in the supply chain, develop robust business cases for new tools, and implement continuous improvement strategies.
To excel in this role, you must possess a blend of technical expertise and leadership capabilities within the pharmaceutical sector. We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CSCP or an MBA are highly desirable.
- Experience: A minimum of five years of experience within a pharmaceutical company, specifically focusing on acquisition integration, supply planning, and procurement.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced hands-on experience with SAP S4H supply planning and ordering processes, alongside expert-level Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of international Health Authority (HA) regulations, including the handling of dangerous goods, devices, and controlled drugs.
- Communication & Leadership: Proven track record of leading discussions with divestment partners and managing high-energy, cross-functional global teams.
- Problem-Solving: Strong ability to troubleshoot complex logistics issues, from serialisation errors to international trade barriers.
