Stok is looking for a passionate Sustainability Consultant to join our interdisciplinary team of experts dedicated to reimagining the built environment. In this role, you will work alongside world-class specialists in energy engineering, ESG, and carbon services to help the world’s most forward-thinking organizations achieve their sustainability goals. Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive ESG consulting and carbon services tailored to client needs.
- Support real estate program and project delivery across diverse sectors, including corporate, life sciences, healthcare, and data centers.
- Lead energy audits, commissioning, and measurement and verification (M&V) processes to optimize building performance.
- Provide strategic guidance on net-zero energy (ZNE) targets, LEED certification, and daylight modeling.
- Foster strong client relationships by aligning intent with impact and providing actionable insights for decarbonization.
- Contribute to internal initiatives that accelerate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within the AEC industry.
- Participate in the evolution of Stok’s core values by engaging in peer-led organizational development and team-building summits.
- Proven experience in sustainability consulting, energy engineering, or ESG strategy within the built environment.
- Strong technical proficiency in building science, including familiarity with LEED, ZNE, and carbon accounting frameworks.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a passion for disrupting 'business as usual' to create better environmental outcomes.
- Ability to work autonomously in a non-hierarchical environment while maintaining high levels of accountability and teamwork.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex sustainability data into compelling narratives for diverse stakeholders.
