Key Responsibilities- Produce two to three high-quality, well-reported news and trend stories daily, focusing on the health and wellness verticals.
- Proactively pitch timely, high-impact story ideas each day that align with current search trends, vertical priorities, and audience interests.
- Collaborate closely with editorial leadership and the Managing Editor to maintain the highest standards of journalistic integrity and quality.
- Optimize all content for search engines by leveraging performance data and SEO best practices to drive traffic and engagement.
- Work cross-functionally with compliance and legal teams to ensure all stories meet brand standards and regulatory requirements within the health space.
- Consistently update existing content with new, relevant information to maintain accuracy and search relevance over time.
- Ensure all published work adheres strictly to AP Style and Forbes Healths internal editorial style guides for tone and voice.
- Coordinate with social media teams to maximize the reach of your reporting across platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X.
- Proven experience in digital content creation, reporting, and writing within the health, wellness, or medical sectors.
- Deep expertise in specialized health topics, specifically including GLP-1 medications and the CBD industry, with knowledge of major players and regulatory landscapes.
