About the Role
HighLevel is seeking a visionary Staff Product Manager for Product Information Management (PIM) to serve as the architect of our foundational commerce layer. In this high-impact role, you will own the end-to-end strategy and execution of the catalog infrastructure that powers every transaction across our global platform, supporting millions of businesses in 150+ countries. You will lead the transition from a traditional catalog to a world-class, extensible PIM system capable of handling complex digital goods, physical products, and service-based offerings at massive scale.
Key Responsibilities- Own the PIM Vision: Define and drive the comprehensive roadmap for Items, Variants, Price Lists, Units of Measure, and multi-channel price resolution logic.
- Lead the Catalog Overhaul: Architect the migration from legacy foundations to a robust, API-first PIM that supports diverse commerce use cases across all HighLevel storefronts.
- Design for Multi-Team Consumption: Establish clear data contracts and API standards that allow adjacent product teams to consume PIM services reliably for subscriptions and service-based experiences.
- Shape Pricing Infrastructure: Develop the strategy for multi-currency and rule-based pricing to ensure accurate resolution at every global point of sale.
- Champion the Merchant Experience: Translate technical catalog complexities into intuitive, high-performance workflows that empower merchants to manage catalogs with ease.
- Establish Platform Standards: Set the benchmark for documentation, versioning, and deprecation protocols to ensure the PIM remains a scalable, dependable internal service.
- Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with engineering, design, and partner PMs to resolve conflicting priorities and sequence investments that unlock compounding platform value.
- 10+ Years of Product Management: Extensive experience in platform or infrastructure roles within high-growth SaaS environments.
- Catalog Systems Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of SKU management, variant modeling, and multi-tenant marketplace infrastructure.
- Platform-First Thinking: Proven ability to design shared infrastructure where internal engineering teams are treated as primary customers.
- Advanced Data Modeling: Strong intuition for schema design and an understanding of how data decisions impact long-term performance and extensibility.
- Collaborative Leadership: Exceptional ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority and navigate ambiguous, high-stakes environments.
- Execution Bias: A proactive mindset with the confidence to define direction and drive execution independently in a fast-paced, remote-first organization.
- Platform-Level Impact: Shape the core infrastructure that will define HighLevel’s commerce strategy and merchant experience for years to come.
- High Ownership Culture: Enjoy full autonomy over the vision and roadmap for a mission-critical system within a speed-oriented organization.
- Global Scale: Build systems that handle 4 billion API hits and 2.5 billion message events daily, impacting over a million businesses worldwide.
- Remote-First Flexibility: Work from anywhere as part of a diverse, global team that values clarity, initiative, and human-centric innovation.
