Speechify: Software Engineer, Web Core Product & Chrome Extension

About the Role

The mission of Speechify is to make sure that reading is never a barrier to learning. Over 30 million people use Speechify’s text-to-speech products to turn whatever they’re reading into audio. This is a key role for someone who thinks strategically, enjoys fast-paced environments, and is passionate about making product decisions.

What You’ll Do:

• Actively ship production code to the web products and Chrome extension.
• Work closely with your dedicated product team.
• Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap.
• Work on new and exciting features that will impact millions of lives.

An Ideal Candidate Should Have:

• Experience building and shipping products that have scaled to thousands or millions of users.
• Customer obsession and a desire to build high-quality products.
• The ability to work quickly and prioritize features effectively.
• Strong collaboration skills with designers, marketers, and PMs.

• Vanilla JS, ReactJS, Redux, Firebase, Typescript
