Key Responsibilities- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of special orders, ensuring accurate processing, timely tracking, and seamless communication with both customers and vendors.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the Special Services Desk, addressing complex inquiries and resolving customer concerns with a high degree of professionalism and empathy.
- Collaborate closely with department leads and installation partners to coordinate project timelines and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards.
- Maintain an organized and efficient service environment, proactively monitoring order status reports to prevent delays and manage customer expectations.
- Educate customers on the full suite of Home Depot services, including credit programs, protection plans, and specialized delivery options.
- Support store-wide sales goals by identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell relevant products and services that add value to the customer’s project.
- Foster a safe and inclusive work environment by adhering to all company policies, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in high-volume customer service, retail, or a project coordination role.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, actionable advice for customers.
