Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable SaaS applications using modern programming languages and high-concurrency frameworks.
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements and provide architectural oversight for new features and system enhancements.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and highly testable code while maintaining rigorous standards for security, performance, and accessibility.
  • Perform comprehensive code reviews and provide constructive, insightful feedback to fellow engineers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Identify and resolve complex technical bottlenecks, optimizing database queries and system architecture to handle massive growth in user traffic.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers, sharing best practices in software craftsmanship and contributing to the team's collective professional growth.
  • Drive the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) within an Agile environment, from initial ideation and prototyping to deployment and post-launch monitoring.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-level SaaS applications.
  • Expertise in modern backend technologies such as .NET/C#, Java, or Node.js, and proficiency with frontend frameworks like React or Angular.
  • Extensive experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS or Azure, and a deep understanding of microservices architecture and containerization.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, including complex schema design, performance tuning, and data integrity management.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical challenges with creative, scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Previous experience working in a remote-first, distributed team environment is highly desirable.

Benefits
  • Competitive base salary and performance-based incentive programs tailored to your experience.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans for employees and their dependents.
  • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) policy and paid holidays to support a healthy work-life balance.
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan with company matching contributions to secure your future.
  • Remote-first work culture providing flexibility and autonomy in how and where you work.
  • Dedicated budget for professional development, including certifications, workshops, and conference attendance.
  • The opportunity to work with a mission-driven team that is revolutionizing care for the autism and IDD community.
