Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

Interra Health is a fast-growing healthcare technology company transforming how providers and patients navigate the prescription journey. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in advancing the Arrive Health Network platform, focusing on high-impact systems used by providers to deliver accessible and affordable treatment options.

• Design and implement complex greenfield projects for providers and clinical staff.
• Partner with leadership on planning, prioritization, and execution of platform initiatives.
• Maintain and evolve backend systems and integrate with electronic health records (EHRs) and external APIs.
• Contribute to infrastructure, monitoring, and platform engineering efforts using AWS, Terraform, and Docker.
• Build scalable solutions with attention to interoperability and long-term maintainability.
• Mentor engineers, participate in code reviews, and help elevate technical standards.

• 5+ years of software development experience with full-stack applications in production environments.
• Experience designing distributed systems and integrating with external APIs (EHR experience is a plus).
• Proficiency in backend frameworks like Kotlin/Spring or Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React.
• Strong understanding of AWS, containerization (Docker), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Solid knowledge of SQL, data modeling, CI/CD, and automated testing (TDD).
• Familiarity with or interest in AI models and agentic workflows.
