Senior React Native Developer

As a Senior Developer, you are client and user-focused while executing on the details of each project. This is a remote role embedded with an existing enterprise client for a medium to long-term engagement.

• Set and communicate technical direction for the mobile codebase (patterns, standards, and tradeoffs).
• Own architecture and technical planning for features end-to-end including mobile and API integration.
• Proactively manage technical debt and mentor the team via pair programming.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders across product, QA, and backend teams to drive alignment.
• Manage client expectations and project scope to ensure the most valuable features are built first.

• Actively use AI tools like Claude Code, Codex, and Tidewave to plan, build, and test software.
• Turn product intent into high-signal prompts and artifacts for AI-assisted execution.
• Validate AI outputs for correctness, security, accessibility, and performance.
• Maintain AI-assisted feedback loops including rapid scaffolding and automated test generation.

• 3+ years of professional mobile development experience, including 1–2+ years with React Native.
• Experience with or willingness to learn native iOS and Android development.
• Proven track record of deploying apps to the App Store and Play Store.
• Familiarity with full-stack technologies like Ruby on Rails, Phoenix/Elixir, or Node is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present work to stakeholders.
