• Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services that power our generative AI features and Studio tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, frontend engineers, and AI researchers to translate complex requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Optimize system performance and infrastructure to handle millions of requests, ensuring low latency and high availability for a global user base.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while participating in rigorous peer code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning within the Studio AI department.
• Integrate third-party AI models and internal machine learning pipelines into our production environment efficiently.
• Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex production issues, implementing long-term fixes and architectural improvements.

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend development, preferably within a high-growth SaaS or marketplace environment.
• Expertise in modern backend languages such as PHP (Laravel), Go, or Python, with a strong understanding of architectural patterns.
• Proven track record of building and scaling distributed systems and microservices that serve millions of monthly active users.
• Solid experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of database design and optimization, including both SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions.
• Familiarity with generative AI frameworks, LLMs, or integrating AI/ML APIs is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
