About the Role

Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA) is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Research and Quality Assistant to join our mission-driven team in a fully remote capacity. As a vital member of our quality management division, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between clinical research and operational excellence. • Conduct comprehensive reviews of clinical documentation and research datasets to ensure adherence to internal protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends in data quality and implement corrective action plans to mitigate risks.
• Assist in the preparation of quality performance reports, utilizing statistical tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and clinical outcomes.
• Perform regular audits of patient records and research files to verify the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive health information.
• Support the development and refinement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aimed at streamlining research workflows and enhancing service delivery.
• Monitor compliance with industry standards, including HIPAA and GCP (Good Clinical Practice) guidelines.
• Facilitate communication between clinical staff and management regarding quality benchmarks and research project milestones.
• Maintain organized digital repositories for all research findings, quality audits, and compliance certifications.

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, Public Health, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical research environment, quality assurance role, or healthcare data management.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, specifically related to cardiovascular health and diagnostics.
• Proficiency in data management software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel for data tracking.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to spot inconsistencies in complex datasets.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high levels of productivity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings to internal stakeholders.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical trial management systems (CTMS).
