Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day administrative and quasi-judicial functions of the court to ensure seamless operations and statutory compliance.
  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of legal and administrative professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous professional development.
  • Identify opportunities for digital transformation and implement innovative processes to streamline court workflows and reduce procedural delays.
  • Engage with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including legal practitioners, judicial officers, and the public, to provide expert guidance and resolve complex inquiries.
  • Manage court records, documentation, and sensitive data with the highest level of integrity and adherence to privacy regulations.
  • Contribute to policy development and strategic planning initiatives aimed at improving the safety and accessibility of justice services.

Qualifications
  • A recognized degree in Law or a related justice-focused discipline is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in a senior administrative or legal role within a court, tribunal, or complex regulatory environment.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of managing teams through organizational change and system modernizations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in the context of procedural efficiency and legislative interpretation.
  • Eligibility for appointment as a Registrar under relevant Queensland legislation.
