Key Responsibilities- Directly manage a diverse team of individual contributors and supervisors, providing consistent mentorship, coaching, and effective performance management to ensure individual and collective success.
- Develop and execute comprehensive tactical and operational plans for the Clinical Sales team, aligning local efforts with broader organizational objectives and enterprise-level business goals.
- Design and implement powerful selling strategies and strategic sales plans tailored to the surgical environment to meet and exceed revenue targets and market share growth.
- Demonstrate and maintain exceptional product and procedural knowledge, serving as a technical expert in new product introductions and clinical excellence for surgeons and healthcare stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quota credits, pay discrepancies, and operational bottlenecks.
- Ensure strict adherence to sales compliance policies, monitoring business practices across the region to maintain the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct.
- Optimize customer acquisition and retention processes by identifying high-potential leads and cultivating long-term, positive relationships with existing surgical partners and hospital administrators.
- Participate in and lead cross-functional initiatives to shape marketing campaigns, product direction, and innovative solutions that address evolving healthcare trends.
- Oversee all operational aspects of the regional team, including workflow management, budget oversight, and the integration of J&J Leadership Imperatives into daily decision-making processes.
- Proven track record of success in a leadership or people management role, preferably within the MedTech, medical device, or clinical sales industry.
- Demonstrated experience working effectively within a complex, matrixed organizational environment with the ability to lead teams through change and ambiguity.
- Advanced expertise in strategic sales planning, business development, and revenue management with a history of achieving or exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong interpersonal influence and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility with surgeons, clinical staff, and internal executive stakeholders.
- Proficient in customer-centricity and solutions-based selling, with a deep understanding of healthcare trends and market dynamics.
- Experience with Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and process improvement methodologies to drive team efficiency and measurable performance outcomes.
- Strong presentation design skills and the ability to articulate complex technical information to diverse audiences.
