About the Role
Rowan is an innovative ear-piercing and hypoallergenic jewelry brand that brings safety to the forefront with our team of licensed nurses. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Regional Human Resources Business Partner (West) will serve as a crucial link between the HR team and the field, providing dedicated guidance and support across the employee life cycle in our Studios.
What You'll DoStrategic Business Partner
- Act as a strategic partner to Regional General Managers, providing guidance on people matters and growth objectives.
- Identify and manage regional business needs and trends through regular field management touchpoints.
- Collaborate with HR and cross-functional leaders to improve operational compliance and team dynamics.
Employee Relations
- Support field teams in understanding company policies and enforcing compliance with state and local laws.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee concerns and recommend alignment with company standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for disciplinary actions and performance management guidance.
Employee Development
- Partner with recruiting to understand nurse labor markets and participate in field management hiring.
- Ensure effective onboarding and training for new hires or promoted employees.
- Support workforce planning, succession planning, and annual performance review cycles.
Operational Excellence
- Manage and analyze regional HR metrics to provide data-driven insights to leadership.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of employee data within HRIS systems and maintain compliance with labor regulations.
- Strengthen engagement through targeted strategies that support a high-performance culture.
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably within a multi-state retail or service organization.
- BA/BS degree in Human Resources or a related field; HR Certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment laws, and handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Google Docs and Microsoft Office Suite.
