About the Role
The Project Manager I is an entry-level role on TEECOM’s internal Project Management path, reporting to Team Leads. This role provides operational support that strengthens visibility into scope, schedule, staffing, documentation, quality, and execution tracking across the team’s portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Delivery Execution & Coordination: Support coordination across scope, schedule, and milestones while maintaining visibility into project status and risks.
- Operational Discipline: Maintain accurate project tracking data, ensure consistent project setup/closeout, and reinforce documentation practices.
- TEECOM System Improvement: Utilize GitHub for internal knowledge management, contributing to documentation clarity and workflow consistency through Pull Requests.
- Project Monitoring: Surface risks and blockers early, maintain Accounts Receivable (AR) targets, and ensure project stale dates remain within company standards.
- Stakeholder Support: Capture meeting notes, document client decisions, and assist with billing readiness and proposal coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination, document control, or operations support, ideally within an AEC-related environment.
- Proficiency in Asana, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Bluebeam, VantagePoint, MS Project, and Procore.
- Foundational understanding of project delivery concepts including scope, schedule, and documentation workflows.
- Familiarity with GitHub documentation workflows is preferred; PMP, CAPM, or PRINCE2 certifications are a plus.
