About the Role
Franklin Fitch is currently seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Coordinator to play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of large-scale cloud transformation, migration, and modernisation programmes. This position offers a unique opportunity to work within enterprise-grade environments, collaborating closely with experienced Project Managers, multidisciplinary technical teams, and key business stakeholders. You will be instrumental in ensuring that complex cloud initiatives—specifically across Azure and AWS platforms—are executed in strict alignment with established governance frameworks, budgetary constraints, and critical delivery timelines.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Project Coordinator, your primary focus will be to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth progression of cloud infrastructure projects. Your daily activities will include:
- Maintaining and updating detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones to ensure accurate tracking of delivery progress.
- Facilitating project governance by preparing steering committee packs, status reports, and comprehensive project documentation.
- Proactively managing RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, and Dependencies), ensuring timely escalation of blockers to leadership.
- Organising and facilitating cross-functional project meetings and stakeholder workshops, ensuring clear communication across all workstreams.
- Overseeing project financial administration, including the management of purchase orders, budget tracking, and financial forecasting.
- Coordinating activities between technical engineering teams and business units to ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and transition smoothly into operational support.
- Producing regular management information and high-level reporting for both internal leadership and external client stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will possess a structured approach to project delivery and a proven track record in a PMO or Project Support function. To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate:
- Significant experience as a Project Coordinator or PMO Analyst within a technology-focused or professional services environment.
- A robust understanding of the project lifecycle, including governance, reporting standards, and documentation control.
- Advanced proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or Azure DevOps.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong financial acumen related to project budgeting and administrative tracking.
- Prior exposure to Azure or AWS cloud migration projects is highly desirable.
- Professional certifications such as PRINCE2 Foundation, AgilePM, or equivalent are preferred.
