About the Role
CXC Upstream Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Coordinator to join our dynamic supply chain team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end sourcing and procurement of specialist goods, heavy machinery, and engineering services essential to our gold-producing operations. Acting as a central link between our operational teams and global suppliers, you will play a vital part in maintaining the integrity of our supply chain, ensuring that our mining sites remain efficient, safe, and fully resourced to meet our ambitious production targets.

Key Responsibilities- Facilitate the end-to-end sourcing process, including evaluating and onboarding new vendors for mining consumables, heavy machinery, and technical engineering services.
- Maintain comprehensive supplier compliance records and documentation, ensuring all partners adhere to the Group’s rigorous regulatory and ethical standards.
- Perform regular market research and price analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and emerging trends within the global mining supply market.
- Manage the administration of purchase orders, contract renewals, and procurement databases to ensure data integrity and real-time reporting accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with on-site engineering, finance, and logistics departments to align procurement schedules with critical operational timelines.
- Monitor and report on supplier performance metrics, including delivery lead times, service quality, and adherence to contractual SLAs.
- Support the Procurement Manager in high-value negotiations and the implementation of continuous improvement strategies to optimize supply chain workflows.
- Assist in managing the logistics and documentation for the movement of specialist equipment across various group assets, including private aviation support coordination.
- Proven professional experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain coordination, ideally within the mining, construction, or heavy manufacturing sectors.
- Demonstrated knowledge of contract management principles and supplier onboarding processes.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a meticulous approach to record-keeping and data management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where prioritizing multiple urgent requirements is essential.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Previous experience utilizing ERP software or dedicated procurement management systems is highly advantageous.
