About the Role
Coralisle Group Ltd. (CG Health) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our premier health services team. Reporting to the Pharmacist Operations Manager and the Head Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in our fast-paced retail pharmacy operations, ensuring that our individual and corporate clients receive accurate, timely, and professional pharmaceutical care. Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Pharmacy Technician at CG Health, you will be responsible for the technical and operational success of the dispensary. Your daily tasks will include:
- Performing all primary Pharmacy Technician duties with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and professional integrity.
- Managing the full lifecycle of medicine orders, including precise data entry and the preparation of prescriptions to maintain an optimal workflow.
- Executing the technical completion of Monitored Dosage System (MDS) packs with strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Overseeing comprehensive inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, conducting product rotations, and verifying expiry dates.
- Coordinating the procurement of pharmaceuticals and supplies from local and international wholesalers to ensure consistent availability.
- Handling insurance billing for prescription claims, tracking payments, and resolving any discrepancies with a high degree of accuracy.
- Building and maintaining professional relationships with customers and vendors, ensuring all queries are resolved with a customer-first approach.
- Collaborating with the pharmacist team to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and operational guidelines.
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and exceptional communication skills. Requirements include:
- Successful completion of a Pharmacy Technician Degree from an accredited academic program.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience within a retail pharmacy environment.
- In-depth knowledge of the laws and regulations governing pharmacy practice in Bermuda.
- Comprehensive proficiency in Rx30 software, specifically regarding Bermuda insurance billing processes.
- Hands-on experience with Monitored Dosage System (MDS) packs and automated dispensing tools.
- The physical ability to lift heavy loads and work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
- Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and modern Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of excellent customer service.
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a diverse, multi-disciplinary team.
