Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Paralegal at Injective, you will play a critical role in maintaining the legal integrity of our operations. You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and managing a wide array of contracts and legal documents essential to our daily business functions. This includes coordinating with internal stakeholders and external parties to negotiate and finalize agreements while ensuring all documentation adheres to strict accuracy and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with the legal team to ensure all company activities remain in full compliance with relevant international laws and emerging regulatory frameworks.
- Draft and manage a high volume of contracts, including NDAs, service agreements, and specialized blockchain-related legal documents.
- Support the legal team in complex negotiations with external partners, service providers, and institutional players in the crypto space.
- Conduct deep-dive legal research into global regulatory trends, particularly those affecting decentralized finance and smart contract technology.
- Lead and manage the Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) processes to ensure robust onboarding and AML compliance.
- Provide day-to-day legal support to internal product and engineering teams to ensure operational efficiency.
- Maintain organized digital legal archives and track key renewal dates or compliance deadlines for all active agreements.
The ideal candidate is a proactive professional who thrives in a high-growth, technical environment. We are looking for someone who combines traditional legal expertise with a genuine passion for blockchain technology and its potential to reshape the financial world.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution is required; a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience as a paralegal within a law firm or a high-growth in-house legal department.
- Proven exposure to legal work related to decentralized finance, cryptocurrencies, or blockchain infrastructure.
- Strong foundational knowledge of general legal principles, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Practical experience with compliance and identity verification platforms, with a strong preference for candidates familiar with Synaps or similar KYC tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
- A high degree of adaptability and the ability to pivot quickly as the global regulatory landscape for Web3 continues to evolve.
