About the Role

Cultur'Elles, the premier association for women within the French Ministry of Culture, is seeking a visionary and dedicated leader to take on the role of Owner/President. This is a unique opportunity for an influential advocate to drive systemic change, foster professional development, and enhance the visibility of women across all cultural sectors. As the primary representative of the association, you will be the catalyst for strategic initiatives that promote parity, combat discrimination, and build a powerful network of female professionals committed to the enrichment of our cultural heritage.

• Define and steer the association's long-term strategic vision in alignment with the evolving needs of women in the cultural sector.
• Act as the primary spokesperson and liaison between the association, the Ministry of Culture, and external institutional partners.
• Oversee the development and implementation of mentorship programs, workshops, and networking events designed to accelerate career growth for members.
• Advocate for policy changes and workplace improvements that foster an inclusive environment and ensure equal opportunities for all genders.
• Lead the administrative and financial governance of the association, ensuring transparency, sustainability, and legal compliance.
• Cultivate a vibrant community by managing member relations and expanding the association's reach through strategic communication and digital outreach.
• Monitor and report on progress regarding gender equality metrics within the ministry to inform future advocacy efforts.

• Proven leadership experience within the cultural sector, public administration, or non-profit management.
• A deep-seated passion for gender equality and a thorough understanding of the specific challenges faced by women in professional environments.
• Exceptional public speaking and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence high-level stakeholders and navigate complex institutional structures.
• Strong organizational and strategic planning abilities, capable of managing multi-faceted projects and diverse teams of volunteers.
• High level of professional integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality and diplomacy in all interactions.
• Fluency in French and a strong professional network within the French cultural landscape are highly preferred.
• Previous experience in community building or presiding over a professional association is a significant advantage.
