In this role, you will act as a pivotal mentor for students within our client-led bootcamps, providing them with the tools, confidence, and strategic guidance necessary to transition into new career opportunities successfully.
As a mentor, you will bridge the gap between education and employment, fostering an energetic and collaborative environment that supports students throughout their intensive learning journey. We are seeking a professional who thrives on interpersonal connection and possesses a deep understanding of current hiring trends, recruitment processes, and career coaching methodologies. Key Responsibilities- Personalized Mentorship: Provide direct guidance and career coaching to bootcamp students, ensuring they meet their specific employability goals and professional milestones.
- Daily Progress Monitoring: Supervise and track the progress of students in their job search activities, offering tailored advice on skill development and market positioning.
- Strategic Coordination: Collaborate with the internal educational team through weekly knowledge-sharing sessions to ensure the program aligns with student needs and industry standards.
- Academic & Career Management: Oversee the end-to-end integration of career services within the bootcamp, ensuring a seamless transition from technical learning to professional application.
- Reporting and Feedback: Generate detailed weekly reports regarding student evolution, motivation levels, and specific intervention needs to maintain high standards of student success.
- Community Engagement: Foster a vibrant, supportive, and inclusive community atmosphere, encouraging networking and peer support that extends beyond the classroom.
- Educational Background: University degree in Psychology, Pedagogy, Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Professional Experience: Proven experience in career counseling, talent acquisition, HR consultancy, or employability departments.
- Mentorship Expertise: Previous experience providing training support, individual tutoring, or professional career coaching, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
- Industry Knowledge: A strong interest in talent development trends, lifelong learning, and the evolving digital job market.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to deliver constructive feedback effectively.
- Methodological Flexibility: Ability to provide high-quality support in both synchronous (live) sessions and asynchronous workflows.
- Language Proficiency: Native or bilingual fluency in Spanish is mandatory, as the bootcamp and all materials are delivered entirely in Spanish.
- Bonus Points: Experience working with adult learners, vocational training programs, or tech bootcamps is highly valued.
