Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the entire lifecycle of shipments, from arrival at the hub to final dispatch, ensuring 100% compliance with Blue Dart’s service level agreements and quality standards.
• Utilize local geographical insights to assist dispatchers and couriers in navigating complex routes, effectively minimizing delays caused by traffic or environmental factors.
• Conduct regular audits of hub inventory to prevent loss and ensure that every parcel is accurately accounted for in the digital tracking system.
• Act as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding shipment status, providing real-time updates and troubleshooting operational issues as they arise.
• Maintain accurate digital records of inventory movement using basic computer systems and logistics software to ensure data integrity.
• Support the hub management team in training junior staff on standard operating procedures, safety regulations, and efficiency benchmarks.
• Facilitate smooth handovers between work shifts, ensuring that all pending tasks are clearly documented and communicated to maintain continuous operation.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve operational bottlenecks and improve overall hub processing speed.
• Generate comprehensive end-of-day reports to track key performance indicators, such as total volume processed and shipment error rates.

Qualifications

• Educational attainment of at least a 12th-grade pass, though a Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred for career progression.
• A minimum of 3 to 4 years of solid experience working specifically within a logistics hub or warehouse environment.
• In-depth knowledge of local geography, which is essential for route optimization and logistical planning.
• Professional maturity and experience level typically found in the 28 to 32-year age bracket.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including data entry, Microsoft Office, and email communication.
• Strong multilingual communication skills, with the ability to speak and write effectively in English, Hindi, and the local regional language.
• High level of organizational commitment and a proven track record of being a reliable, proactive team player.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment that requires quick decision-making.
