In this role, you will serve as a vital link between our cutting-edge payment infrastructure and our growing network of enterprise partners, ensuring that every merchant journey is smooth, efficient, and aligned with our high standards of operational excellence.

As an Operations Executive, you will be responsible for managing the complexities of our daily operations while maintaining a remote-first workflow that supports our regional expansion. You will dive deep into operational data to identify trends, resolve process bottlenecks, and implement strategies that enhance the performance of our payment ecosystem. This position requires a unique blend of analytical thinking, technical curiosity, and interpersonal savvy, as you will be collaborating with diverse stakeholders—from POS providers to hospitality managers—to drive the future of commerce in the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities

The Operations Executive will be tasked with orchestrating the fundamental workflows that keep our platform running at peak performance. Your core duties will involve managing the complete lifecycle of our merchants, from initial onboarding to long-term operational support.

  • Lead the end-to-end onboarding process for new merchants, ensuring technical integrations with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems are executed flawlessly and on schedule.
  • Monitor and analyze real-time operational data to track performance metrics, identify anomalies in transaction flows, and proactively resolve system issues.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development and merchant success, to refine internal processes and improve the overall customer experience.
  • Act as the primary operational liaison for existing merchants, providing ongoing technical support and troubleshooting to ensure maximum platform uptime.
  • Coordinate with regional stakeholders and Point-of-Sale providers to optimize API connections and streamline commercial workflows.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of operational procedures and merchant interactions to foster a culture of transparency and knowledge sharing.
  • Support strategic management initiatives by providing data-driven recommendations that contribute to regional scaling and service improvement.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess a proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, digital-first environment. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about fintech and has a track record of operational success.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an operations-focused role, preferably within the fintech, payments, or software-as-a-service (SaaS) industries.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable operational improvements.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships with diverse external stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Familiarity with modern payment systems, Point-of-Sale (POS) hardware/software, and digital commerce platforms is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote capacity while maintaining high levels of productivity and accountability.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle is essential for visiting merchant sites within the region when necessary.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage given our GCC market focus.
