Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Online Hotel Reservationist, your primary focus is to streamline the booking lifecycle while maintaining high standards of accuracy. You will be expected to:
- Research and curate a diverse selection of lodging options including boutique hotels, international resorts, and specialized accommodations based on specific client budgets and destination preferences.
- Manage the end-to-end reservation process, including initial bookings, modifications, and cancellations, using various online platforms and proprietary booking tools.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and global supplier partners to ensure special requests, such as room upgrades or dietary requirements, are documented and confirmed.
- Monitor and stay updated on global travel trends, seasonal hotel promotions, and evolving cancellation policies to provide the most current advice to clients.
- Maintain meticulous records of all client interactions, confirmations, and financial transactions to ensure a seamless hand-off to the travel accounting team.
- Proactively resolve any booking discrepancies or issues that may arise during the reservation process, ensuring a stress-free experience for the traveler.
- Collaborate with the broader destination planning team to provide insights on hotel quality and service standards based on client feedback and industry reports.
We are seeking candidates who possess a blend of technical proficiency and a heart for hospitality. To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of two years of experience in hotel reservations, travel coordination, or a high-volume customer service environment is highly preferred.
