As an O&M specialist, you will leverage advanced monitoring technologies and data analytics to oversee solar plant health from a remote environment. You will be responsible for bridge-gap communications between field technicians and technical engineering teams, ensuring that every kilowatt-hour of potential energy is captured through proactive maintenance strategies and rapid incident response. We are looking for a candidate who embodies our core values and is passionate about driving excellence in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor real-time performance of distributed solar assets using SCADA and remote monitoring systems to ensure maximum uptime.
  • Conduct detailed performance analysis and diagnostic reports to identify underperforming sites or specific equipment failures.
  • Coordinate with regional field teams to schedule preventive maintenance activities and oversee the resolution of corrective maintenance tickets.
  • Analyze weather data, inverter efficiency, and string-level performance to optimize energy generation forecasts.
  • Manage relationships with equipment vendors to facilitate warranty claims and technical support for inverters, transformers, and tracking systems.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for emergency response and safety protocols across all solar sites.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of site history, maintenance logs, and compliance records for stakeholder reporting.
  • Utilize predictive maintenance tools to anticipate component failures before they impact system availability.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the operations and maintenance of utility-scale or industrial solar PV systems.
  • Strong proficiency in remote monitoring software, PVsyst, and data analysis tools (Excel, Python, or specialized BI tools).
  • In-depth knowledge of solar equipment including string/central inverters, HV/LV switchgear, and SCADA architecture.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex technical data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Superior communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams and external stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications in workplace safety (OSHA) or specialized solar technical training are highly preferred.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation package with performance-based incentives aligned with plant efficiency goals.
  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Flexible remote work arrangements allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
  • Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning within the Kirloskar Group ecosystem.
  • Collaborative work environment driven by innovation, integrity, and a commitment to a greener planet.
  • Access to cutting-edge technology and tools in the renewable energy industry.
