Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions within the New Relic observability platform to support complex, high-traffic digital environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, technical specifications, and success metrics for new features and system enhancements.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase team velocity, reduce technical debt, and ensure the long-term stability of our service offerings.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to peers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and high-quality code standards across the organization.
- Analyze system performance data to proactively identify bottlenecks and optimize digital applications for maximum efficiency and uptime.
- Proven experience in software engineering, systems architecture, or a related technical field with a track record of delivering high-quality production code.
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud-native technologies and experience managing complex, distributed systems at scale.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on collaboration in a remote-first, global team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Familiarity with observability frameworks, APM tools, or data analytics platforms is highly preferred.
- Experience with AI and machine learning integration within software monitoring tools.
- Active participation in open-source communities or technical leadership in professional networking groups.
- Advanced certifications in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- A history of working successfully in asynchronous, multi-time-zone environments.
