About the Role
Nextiva is seeking a visionary Director of Product Management for our AI Agent Platform to lead the strategic vision, technical development, and comprehensive go-to-market execution of our next-generation agentic ecosystem. In this high-impact leadership role, you will be responsible for defining the future of customer engagement by enabling intelligent, multi-channel AI agents that deliver seamless, conversation-centric experiences for businesses worldwide. You will act as the bridge between cutting-edge innovation from our global engineering teams and the evolving market needs of our sales, marketing, and customer success organizations, driving the evolution of Nextiva’s core AI capabilities as a key member of our product leadership team.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will define and drive the overarching product vision and roadmap for the AI Agent Platform, focusing on building scalable, modular agentic solutions that differentiate Nextiva in the competitive UCaaS and CCaaS landscape. As a strategic leader, you will mentor a high-performing team of product managers across the AI portfolio, ensuring that all initiatives are aligned with company-wide objectives and market-leading innovation. You will be responsible for establishing clear success metrics to track adoption, user engagement, and the tangible business impact of AI-driven products.
- Lead the development and orchestration of intelligent virtual assistants (IVAs) and conversational AI agents across voice, chat, and SMS channels.
- Identify and prioritize high-value use cases including automated payment collection, transactional agents, and FAQ support.
- Collaborate closely with global engineering and data science teams to design robust LLM architectures and multi-agent systems.
- Serve as the primary product liaison between our India-based development centers and the U.S. go-to-market organization.
- Act as a customer-facing evangelist, participating in enterprise client meetings and industry events to demonstrate Nextiva’s AI leadership.
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to translate complex technical capabilities into simple, outcome-driven value propositions.
The ideal candidate possesses a deep technical understanding of the agentic AI ecosystem and a proven track record of scaling SaaS products within complex, globally distributed organizations. You should be a master storyteller who can bridge the gap between technical domains and business outcomes, providing clarity in ambiguous environments. We are looking for a leader who is passionate about LLM orchestration and has the experience necessary to deploy enterprise-grade AI at scale.
- At least 10 years of professional product management experience, with a minimum of 4 years in a leadership capacity overseeing AI or SaaS products.
- Extensive knowledge of agentic AI systems, LLM frameworks, and multi-agent architectures.
- Prior experience in UCaaS, CCaaS, or communication-centric software platforms is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing the full product lifecycle from inception to global launch.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence executive leadership and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or advanced technical degree is a significant plus.
