Key ResponsibilitiesAs our primary YouTube Video Editor, you will be responsible for the end-to-end production of short-form video content designed to engage and entertain a global audience. Your daily tasks will include:
- Conceptualizing and executing video edits based on specific creative briefs and internal instructions.
- Infusing every project with a strong sense of humor, ensuring that comedic beats land perfectly to maximize viewer retention.
- Maintaining strict consistency in pacing, visual style, and brand voice across all video assets.
- Collaborating with the creative team to brainstorm new concepts and innovative editing techniques.
- Managing project timelines efficiently to ensure all deliverables are met without compromising on quality.
- Organizing raw footage and assets to maintain a streamlined post-production workflow.
We are looking for a candidate who is not only technically proficient but also possesses a creative spark and a deep understanding of internet culture. To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working with Adobe Animate is highly recommended to handle specific animation requirements.
- Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create engaging YouTube content.
- A refined sense of humor and the ability to apply it effectively within a visual medium.
- Strong foundational knowledge of video editing software and post-production techniques.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions while also providing creative input to improve the final product.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive within a diverse, international team environment.
- A proactive mindset with the ambition to eventually transition into a Creative Lead position.
