Jovie is currently seeking enthusiastic, creative, and reliable Nannies and Babysitters to join our premier childcare team in Fall City. Whether you are a retired educator looking for a more intimate setting than a traditional classroom, a former daycare worker, or a dedicated nursery volunteer, we offer a rewarding environment where your skills are celebrated. In this role, you will provide high-quality care for toddlers and elementary-aged children, facilitating a safe and fun atmosphere while parents are working.

As a member of the Jovie team, your primary focus is the well-being and development of the children in your care. Your daily activities will center on engagement and safety within the family home.

• Deliver attentive, one-on-one childcare tailored to the specific developmental needs and ages of the children.
• Lead creative and age-appropriate activities, such as reading, arts and crafts, and active outdoor play, to keep children engaged without the use of screens.
• Maintain a consistent routine that aligns with the parents' preferences, ensuring a seamless transition during the workday.
• Perform 'common-sense' cleanup related to the children’s activities and meal times to leave the home as you found it.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with parents regarding the day’s highlights and any important updates.
• Ensure a safe environment by proactively managing risks and reacting to any emergent situations with a calm and effective demeanor.

• Minimum of 18 years of age with at least one year of consistent childcare experience (nanny, sitter, teacher, or similar).
• Demonstrated ability to be reliable, punctual, and communicative with both management and families.
• Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute to various assignments in the Fall City area.
• Physical ability to engage in active play, including frequent lifting (up to 35 lbs), bending, squatting, and getting up and down from the floor.
• Availability to work at least two days per week for shifts ranging from 6 to 9 hours between the window of 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
• Ability to provide three professional references, including at least two specifically related to child-focused work.

• Competitive compensation starting at $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, with overtime rates reaching up to $37.50 per hour.
