  • Ensure all deliverables strictly adhere to the American Medical Association (AMA) Manual of Style, client-specific brand guidelines, and agency standards.

  • Manage the end-to-end reference process, including verifying reference lists, managing library upkeep, and processing copyright permission requests for published figures and tables.
  • Facilitate the submission of promotional and educational pieces through the Veeva Vault system, serving as a technical subject-matter expert for document review processes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Services and Creative Services teams to resolve editorial discrepancies and brainstorm solutions for complex content challenges.
  • Develop and maintain product-specific style guides to ensure consistency across large-scale, multi-channel pharmaceutical campaigns.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a scientific discipline or English.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical or medical editing.
  • Proven expertise in the AMA Manual of Style and a deep understanding of promotional activity regulations.
  • Direct experience working within a medical communications agency or a pharmaceutical marketing department is highly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Excel.
  • Experience with Veeva Vault or similar electronic document review systems is a significant advantage.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently in a remote setting while remaining a cohesive part of a larger team.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary packages tailored to experience and industry standards.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans for employees and their families.
  • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) policy and paid family leave to support work-life balance.
  • 401(k) plan with a robust employer matching program to help you plan for the future.
  • A remote-first work environment that prioritizes professional development and employee well-being.
  • Opportunity to work with an independently owned agency that values integrity, innovation, and clinical contribution.
