About the Role
Brooklyn Cured is looking for a highly organized, creative, and analytical Marketing Assistant to support our growing brand across retail, sales, and marketing initiatives. This is an ideal role for an ambitious professional who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced food company and help bring premium products to life. As a key member of our team, you will act as a bridge between data-driven strategy and creative execution, ensuring our brand maintains its reputation for excellence in the CPG marketplace.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and report syndicated data from Nielsen and other market reporting platforms to provide actionable insights for sales and marketing initiatives.
- Develop compelling charts, graphs, and high-impact PowerPoint presentations for customer meetings, retailer pitches, and internal reporting.
- Serve as the primary project coordinator for all new label and packaging initiatives, managing timelines, revisions, and approvals between designers, printers, and regulatory partners.
- Support the strategic planning and execution of holistic marketing campaigns, seasonal promotions, and industry trade shows.
- Assist in managing digital touchpoints, including social media content creation, email marketing deployments, and website updates.
- Conduct comprehensive market and competitive research to identify emerging category trends and white-space opportunities.
- Maintain and organize the digital brand library, including product photography, sales sheets, and marketing collateral.
- Provide critical administrative and logistical support to ensure the sales and marketing teams operate at peak efficiency.
- Contribute fresh, creative ideas that strengthen Brooklyn Cured’s brand presence and authentic storytelling.
- Represent the brand professionally at trade shows and industry events to build relationships with partners and consumers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant marketing experience, including high-level internships within the CPG or food industry.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, with a proven ability to visualize complex data sets.
- Strong analytical mindset with the comfort level required to draw meaningful insights from market reports.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous eye for detail, particularly regarding packaging and brand standards.
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects and meet strict deadlines in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a flair for professional storytelling.
- A genuine passion for food, specialty CPG brands, and evolving consumer trends.
- Technical familiarity with Nielsen, SPINS, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or social media management tools is highly preferred.
