About the Role
Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is seeking a high-impact Manufacturing Manager to lead a complex, high-growth manufacturing operation. In this pivotal leadership role, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence across safety, quality, delivery, and cost while fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. We are looking for a strategic thinker with operational discipline who can translate business priorities into tangible results, build robust systems, and develop the next generation of manufacturing talent.
As a key leader on the production floor, you will balance short-term execution with long-term capability building. You will be tasked with identifying operational bottlenecks and implementing sustainable solutions using data-driven insights and Lean manufacturing principles. By partnering cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance, you will ensure our manufacturing processes are perfectly aligned with customer demand and strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead comprehensive manufacturing operations to achieve and exceed targets in safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity.
- Build and sustain a culture of accountability, urgency, and teamwork across the production organization.
- Drive daily management through rigorous KPI reviews, tiered accountability, and disciplined performance escalation.
- Mentor and develop supervisors, team leaders, and salaried staff to strengthen organizational bench depth and technical capability.
- Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks to enhance capacity, throughput, and workflow efficiency.
- Champion the use of Lean manufacturing tools including A3 problem solving, Root Cause Analysis, Standard Work, and Kaizen events.
- Oversee IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) project integration, utilizing digital dashboards and Tiered management boards to define fast-response actions.
- Ensure operational readiness for capital projects, new product introductions (NPI), and process improvements.
- Maintain a strong visible presence on the production floor to drive engagement and ownership at all levels.
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems and data trends to prioritize resources and ensure countermeasures deliver measurable results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related technical field is required.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience within a complex industrial, high-volume, or high-mix manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of leading through front-line leaders and managing large, diverse teams in a results-driven setting.
- Expertise in labor productivity, capacity planning, quality systems, and material flow management.
- Demonstrated success in driving Lean manufacturing initiatives with measurable impact on business financial outcomes.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to interface effectively with senior executive leadership.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced environments characterized by high accountability.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Shop Floor Connectivity tools (PDES/UI) is highly preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is an advantage.
