The KIPP Foundation is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manager of People Operations to serve as a critical pillar in our talent ecosystem. Reporting to the Senior Director of People Operations, this role is designed for a service-driven professional who thrives on operational excellence and high-quality employee support. You will be the central coordinator for day-to-day HR functions, ensuring that our internal systemsranging from payroll and benefits to HRIS data integrityrun with precision and care. By managing the administrative backbone of the organization, you enable our educators and staff to focus on what matters most: preparing students with the skills and confidence to create the future they want for themselves and their communities.

Key Responsibilities- Payroll & Benefits Administration: Oversee payroll processing in collaboration with Finance, including compensation adjustments, stipends, and leave tracking. Manage daily benefits administration, enrollment support, and vendor coordination to ensure comprehensive staff coverage.
- Employee Support & Advocacy: Serve as the primary point of contact for the AskTalent intake process, providing timely and accurate responses to HR inquiries and triaging complex cases to appropriate stakeholders.
- Vendor & Operational Management: Manage relationships with external partners, including benefits providers and HR system vendors, while overseeing invoicing, billing, and expense tracking for the People Operations team.
- HR Systems & Data Integrity: Maintain the accuracy and security of HRIS platforms and employee records, conducting regular audits and updates to ensure data privacy and compliance across the organization.
- Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reports to track workforce metrics, engagement data, and operational KPIs that inform strategic decision-making.
- Knowledge Management: Create and update staff-facing materials, including FAQs, guides, and training documentation, to improve the accessibility and clarity of HR processes.
- Experience: At least 4 years of professional experience in talent operations, payroll support, or HR customer service.
- HR Expertise: Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance across multiple geographic territories.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with HR systems such as ADP, Salesforce, or various Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Data Fluency: Ability to synthesize data findings into actionable insights and communicate complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders.

- Operational Excellence: Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, co-create ambitious goals, and execute project plans with high attention to detail.
- Competitive Compensation: An annual salary range of $83,200 - $99,000, based on experience and internal equity.
