Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Maintenance Lead, your primary focus will be on the seamless execution of technical strategies within the mobile manufacturing ecosystem. You will be tasked with developing and implementing comprehensive maintenance schedules that minimize equipment downtime and maximize output quality. A significant portion of this role involves manpower planning, where you will analyze labor requirements and optimize staff allocation to meet fluctuating production demands. Your leadership will ensure that the workforce is effectively utilized and trained on the latest manufacturing protocols.
Furthermore, you will play a central role in New Product Introduction (NPI) cycles. This involves collaborating closely with R&D and engineering teams to integrate new assembly lines and hardware components into the existing production framework. You will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance protocols are updated to reflect new product specifications and that the transition from prototype to mass production is seamless. Meeting set deadlines is a non-negotiable aspect of this role, as you will be accountable for hitting production milestones and technical KPIs.
Data-driven decision-making is at the heart of our operations. You will be responsible for maintaining and analyzing Management Information Systems (MIS) to track equipment performance, maintenance costs, and operational bottlenecks. By generating detailed reports and providing actionable insights, you will help the executive team make informed decisions regarding capital investments and process improvements. Your ability to translate complex technical data into clear, concise MIS reports will be critical to the success of our global operations.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, along with at least five years of experience specifically within the mobile phone or high-tech electronics manufacturing industry. You must demonstrate a deep understanding of automated assembly lines, surface mount technology (SMT), and the intricate maintenance requirements of mobile device production. Experience in manpower planning is essential, as is a proven track record of managing technical teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
We are looking for a professional who is proficient in MIS tools and has a high degree of digital literacy. You should be adept at using project management software and maintenance tracking tools to monitor progress across multiple production units. Strong communication skills are vital, as you will be required to coordinate with diverse stakeholders across different time zones. Additionally, your ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines while maintaining a focus on quality and safety is what will set you apart in this competitive field.
