This fully remote position offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in streamlining distribution networks and ensuring the seamless movement of goods across North America. As the primary point of contact between vendors, carriers, and internal departments, you will leverage your exceptional communication skills and logistical expertise to maintain operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives on data-driven decision-making and possesses a deep understanding of transportation management systems. In this role, you will be responsible for navigating the complexities of international and domestic shipping, ensuring that every shipment arrives on time and in accordance with regulatory requirements. We are looking for a professional who is fluent in both English and French to support our diverse client base and foster strong relationships across the Canadian market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and monitor daily outbound and inbound shipping activities to ensure timely delivery and cost-efficiency.
  • Facilitate clear and professional communication between stakeholders, carriers, and warehouse teams in both English and French.
  • Prepare and audit essential shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs invoices, and packing slips.
  • Resolve logistics-related issues, such as transit delays, damaged goods, or documentation errors, by implementing immediate corrective actions.
  • Maintain and update the Transportation Management System (TMS) with accurate data regarding shipment status and carrier performance.
  • Negotiate rates and service levels with third-party logistics providers to optimize the company’s supply chain budget.
  • Ensure full compliance with Canadian and international trade regulations and safety standards.
  • Generate regular reports on logistical KPIs, providing insights to management for continuous process improvement.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator, Supply Chain Specialist, or in a similar administrative role within the transportation industry.
  • Complete professional fluency in English and French (written and verbal) is a mandatory requirement.
  • Solid understanding of Canadian customs regulations, freight forwarding, and multi-modal transportation.
  • Proficiency in using ERP and TMS software systems, along with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build rapport with external vendors and partners.
  • A degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Candidates must be currently residing in Canada and have a dedicated home office environment.

Benefits
  • Competitive base salary with performance-based incentives.
  • Fully remote work flexibility, providing a healthy work-life balance.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance packages.
  • Professional development opportunities and support for industry certifications (e.g., CITT or CCLP).
  • A collaborative and inclusive company culture that values diversity and innovation.
  • Generous paid time off and statutory holiday pay.
