Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Junior Front-End Developer, your primary focus will be translating UI/UX designs into high-quality code and ensuring a seamless user experience across all digital touchpoints.
- Front-End Development: Develop and maintain responsive, mobile-first websites and landing pages using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Design Integration: Convert Figma and Adobe XD prototypes into clean, maintainable, and reusable front-end components.
- CMS Management: Manage and update WordPress websites, implementing custom layouts and ensuring content integrity across various platforms.
- Performance Optimization: Audit and improve website speed, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility to ensure peak performance on all devices.
- Marketing Support: Collaborate with the digital marketing team to implement SEO best practices and conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies.
- Quality Assurance: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve front-end bugs and visual inconsistencies through rigorous testing and peer reviews.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups and brainstorming sessions, contributing innovative ideas to refine development workflows.
We are looking for a candidate who combines technical curiosity with a strong foundation in modern web standards and a commitment to clean code.
- Experience: 0–2 years of experience in front-end development, which may include professional roles, internships, freelance projects, or a robust personal portfolio.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Core Tech Stack: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Frameworks & Tools: Familiarity with React or Vue.js is a significant plus. Experience with Git version control and modern CSS frameworks like Tailwind or Bootstrap is preferred.
- CMS Knowledge: Hands-on experience working within WordPress or similar content management systems.
- Design Literacy: Ability to work comfortably with design hand-off tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is considered a strong advantage for the MENA region.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and the discipline to thrive in a remote-first work environment.
