Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Junior Front End Developer, your primary focus will be the development and maintenance of responsive, high-performance websites. You will collaborate closely with our design and marketing teams to ensure that every pixel serves a purpose and every interaction is seamless. Your daily tasks will include:
- Converting UI/UX designs from tools like Figma or Adobe XD into clean, scalable, and reusable front-end code using modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Building and maintaining responsive interfaces that provide a consistent experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices, ensuring accessibility and usability are prioritized.
- Supporting the digital marketing team by developing high-converting landing pages and maintaining existing web assets for our healthcare and medical clients.
- Optimizing websites for maximum speed, cross-browser compatibility, and search engine visibility through clean code and modern performance techniques.
- Assisting in the implementation of conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies and tracking improvements to enhance the user journey.
- Maintaining and updating client websites built on CMS platforms like WordPress, including theme customization and content updates.
- Identifying, debugging, and resolving front-end issues and UI inconsistencies to maintain a high standard of quality across all digital products.
- Participating in code reviews and active learning sessions to stay updated on emerging front-end frameworks and industry best practices.
We are looking for a candidate who possesses a solid foundational knowledge of web development and a strong desire to grow. Whether you are a recent graduate or have a few years of experience, we value your portfolio and your problem-solving mindset. Our ideal candidate meets the following criteria:
- Between 0 and 2 years of professional experience in front-end development, which can include internships, freelance projects, or a strong portfolio of personal work.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Web Development; equivalent practical experience or completion of a reputable coding bootcamp will also be considered.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript, with a firm understanding of DOM manipulation and CSS preprocessors.
- Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first development workflows to ensure reach across all devices.
- Basic experience with modern JavaScript libraries or frameworks such as React or Vue is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms, particularly in customizing templates and managing layouts.
- Experience using version control systems like Git and collaborating via design tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, bug-free code.
- Strong communication skills in English; the ability to communicate in Arabic is considered a significant advantage for our regional operations.
- A proactive attitude toward learning and the ability to manage time effectively in a remote, independent working environment.
