About the Role

Haystack is proud to partner with a major North American eCommerce leader to find a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Ecommerce Specialist. In this remote-first role, you will be a vital link between the creative and commercial arms of the business, ensuring that the digital storefront is always accurate, engaging, and high-performing across both desktop and mobile platforms.

As a Junior Ecommerce Specialist, you will work at the intersection of technology and retail, helping to shape how customers interact with products online. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch marketing campaigns, manage product lifecycles, and use data-driven insights to improve the overall user experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a budding marketing professional to gain hands-on experience with a large-scale eCommerce ecosystem and grow their career in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the end-to-end management of product content, ensuring all listings are accurate, updated, and optimized for high conversion on mobile and desktop platforms.
  • Coordinate closely with Merchandising, Product Marketing, and Creative teams to align digital assets with seasonal campaigns and brand messaging.
  • Audit digital assets and live marketing banners to ensure strict adherence to brand style guidelines and technical specifications.
  • Facilitate the creative workflow by submitting, tracking, and managing creative requests for web content updates and landing page enhancements.
  • Monitor website performance metrics and gather customer feedback to identify friction points in the digital shopping experience.
  • Propose and implement data-backed enhancements to product detail pages and navigation flows to increase customer engagement.
  • Support the eCommerce team in executing promotional calendars, ensuring all discounts and features go live accurately and on schedule.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a preferred focus in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, Business Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of professional experience in a marketing, project management, or digital retail environment.
  • High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel for data organization and Word for content drafting.
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics to ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing principles and web analytics tools, such as GA4 or Google Analytics, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a remote setting.
  • A proactive mindset and a genuine interest in the evolving landscape of eCommerce and digital consumer behavior.

Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary with regular performance reviews.
  • Eligibility for multiple corporate bonus programs designed to reward excellence and contribution.
  • Comprehensive health insurance coverage, including dental and vision plans.
  • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) policy and a schedule of paid annual holidays to promote work-life balance.
  • 100% remote work environment providing flexibility and autonomy.
  • Opportunities for professional development and internal career progression within a major industry leader.
