About the Role

Newhouse, an industry-leading integrated creative and communications agency, is seeking a strategic and seasoned Junior Director to lead our Influencer Marketing division. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between creative vision and tactical execution, overseeing comprehensive influencer outreach programs that drive measurable impact for a diverse client portfolio primarily rooted in the entertainment sector. We are looking for a visionary professional who thrives in a high-octane, collaborative environment and possesses the unique ability to cultivate authentic relationships while maintaining a rigorous focus on data-driven results and departmental growth.

Key Responsibilities

As a Junior Director, you will serve as a core architect of our influencer ecosystem, ensuring that every campaign aligns with the overarching brand strategy and client objectives. Your daily focus will involve high-level cross-functional collaboration and the meticulous management of influencer lifecycles.

  • Partner with Experiential, PR, Social, and Creative departments to design and launch cutting-edge, multi-channel influencer programs.
  • Develop and execute actionable go-to-market strategies that leverage the latest trends in digital storytelling and audience engagement.
  • Lead the identification and vetting process for campaign influencers, providing data-backed rationales and comprehensive content briefs to ensure brand alignment.
  • Oversee program quality control, providing creative direction and ensuring all deliverables adhere to established strategic pillars.
  • Lead complex legal and contract negotiations with talent and agencies to protect client interests and ensure compliance.
  • Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations for clients, showcasing strategy, creative concepts, and new campaign opportunities.
  • Manage on-site logistics and influencer coordination for high-profile in-person events and activations.
  • Analyze campaign performance data to compile detailed coverage reports and lead weekly status calls with key stakeholders.
  • Stay at the forefront of the industry by identifying emerging platforms, technologies, and creator trends to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a blend of a creative strategist and an operational expert. We are looking for a professional who can navigate the complexities of the entertainment landscape with poise and precision.

  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in marketing or communications, with a proven track record of executing large-scale influencer campaigns.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex strategies to both internal teams and C-suite clients.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality across all project deliverables.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience working with legal frameworks and talent contracts.
  • A results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently in a remote environment while fostering a deep sense of teamwork.
  • Experience in the entertainment industry is highly preferred, with a deep understanding of fan culture and creator dynamics.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously in a fast-paced agency setting.

Benefits
