United Infrastructure Ltd is seeking a dedicated and versatile Joiner Multi to join our expanding Social Infrastructure division. This role is pivotal to our mission of revitalizing homes and communities through high-quality retrofit, refurbishment, and maintenance projects. As part of a dynamic team of specialists, you will apply your joinery expertise while utilizing a broad range of multi-trade skills to solve complex challenges and deliver exceptional results for our clients. Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality joinery work including first and second fix installations, cabinetry, door hanging, and structural timber repairs.
- Execute various multi-trade tasks such as basic tiling, plaster patching, and plumbing adjustments to ensure a comprehensive finish on refurbishment projects.
- Support social infrastructure initiatives by carrying out retrofitting works and essential maintenance across domestic and community properties.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure all work meets safety standards, building regulations, and client expectations.
- Collaborate effectively with the wider Social Infrastructure team to manage project timelines and ensure the efficient use of materials.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering strictly to health and safety protocols at all times.
- Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with residents, clients, and community stakeholders.
- Proven experience as a Joiner, preferably with a background in multi-trade environments or social housing refurbishment.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Joinery/Carpentry or an equivalent recognized trade qualification.
- Strong proficiency in a range of secondary skills such as basic plumbing, tiling, or painting and decorating.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to adapt to the unique challenges of different work sites.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship with a meticulous eye for detail.
- Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Valid UK driving license and the ability to travel to various project sites as required.
- A valid CSCS card is highly desirable.
