Interop Labs is seeking a talented and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our high-performing team and serve as a cornerstone for the reliability and scalability of the Axelar Network. Key ResponsibilitiesAs a DevOps Engineer at Interop Labs, you will be responsible for the health and performance of our global infrastructure. Your primary objectives will include:
- Designing, maintaining, and optimizing sophisticated CI/CD pipelines to facilitate fast and secure deployments across multiple blockchain environments.
- Automating all aspects of infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Industry-standard tools like Terraform, Bash, and Python to ensure a fully reproducible stack.
- Enhancing our observability and monitoring framework using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and the ELK stack to provide deep insights into system performance and uptime.
- Managing and scaling containerized workloads across Kubernetes and major cloud providers, specifically AWS, to support the growing demands of the Axelar ecosystem.
- Conducting deep-dive troubleshooting across the entire stack, identifying technical bottlenecks, and implementing permanent architectural solutions.
- Collaborating closely with software engineering teams to streamline internal development workflows and ensure seamless transitions from staging to production.
- Contributing to strategic initiatives focused on infrastructure security, disaster recovery, and cost-optimization.
- Remaining at the forefront of the DevOps and Web3 industries, evaluating and integrating emerging technologies that can improve our operational efficiency.
We are looking for candidates who possess a blend of traditional SRE expertise and a keen interest in decentralized protocols. To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or core infrastructure management.
- Extensive hands-on experience managing production-grade Kubernetes clusters and Docker environments at scale.
- Deep proficiency with at least one major cloud platform, with a strong preference for Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Advanced skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation.
- Direct experience with modern CI/CD ecosystems, including GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or Jenkins.
- A solid understanding of observability principles and practical experience configuring alerting and dashboards in Prometheus and Grafana.
- A foundational understanding of, or a strong desire to learn, blockchain infrastructure, decentralized finance (DeFi), and cross-chain communication protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a fully remote, globally distributed team.
